Chef Annmarie Chelius is a Certified Culinary Educator, Certified Hospitality Educator and Certified Working Pastry Chef. Her career began after graduation from the Academy of Culinary Arts in 1984 where she received her AAS degree in Culinary Arts. She continued on and has a BSBA from Thomas Edison and MS in Hospitality Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. The highlight of her culinary career was spent making delicious pastries for the famed Le Bec Fin Restaurant in Philadelphia. Luckily, she was offered a full time teaching position and has been a chef educator for the past 22 years. She enjoys teaching all classes but has a particular love for the pastry arts and vegetarian/vegan cuisine. As an advocate for a healthy lifestyle she volunteers at numerous events spreading the message of combining an active lifestyle with a healthy diet.
Professional Affliations: ACF (American Culinary Federation) North American Vegetarian Society, New Jersey Bakers Board of Trade, NEWH ( Network of Hospitality Professionals) WCR (Women Chefs and Restauranteurs) 4H ( Program Advisory Board and co-leader of teen club, Communateen).
